Son's of Anarchy Episode 13 review

The season finale lucky#13 episode did not disappoint.

The show started out with Gemma confronting Clay regarding what he knew of the Donna shooting. When he could not answer the question that it had nothing to do with the club, She knew it did. This brought Clay to tears.

We moved onto the local police station where Unser and Hale start laying blame on Donna's death, and ultimately decide that maybe the outlaws should serve up their own justice. Hale slips a bit of information to Jax, so he can go ballistic.

Half Sack shows back up in this episode.

Tara has a talk with Jax about her going back to Chicago, which Jax wants to hear nothing of the sorts.

Gemma finds John Teller's Journal while unpacking some of Jax's belongings. Confronts Clay with it, and Clay looses his Sh*t over it and storms out in a rage. Gemma mutters to herself "Your loosing control, just like he did" referring to John Teller.

There is a hold up in the bar that the Niner's (the black gang involved in the prior episode's shoot out) hang out in started by Piermont Winston (AKA Piney) Opies father. Jax and Half-sack save the day here, by getting Piney and themselves out alive. Here it is revealed that the hit on Donna was not gangster, and not served up by the Niners.

There is a scene where ATF Agent June Stahl is in with Bobbi in jail, and she reveals to him that she set up Opie, and that Donna's death was a mistake. Did She do this to vent, or did she do this to get Bobbi to turn on the club for killing Donna? Maybe something more was in her motives that I've not figured out yet. We'll have to wait and see.

Jax confront's Clay in the clubhouse. Asks him if he had anything to do with the hit intended for Opie, and mistakenly taken out on Donna. Clay blatenly denies it, and Jax walks out on him. Jax finds out that the informant witness is a 17 year old girl, and goes off to stop the other club members from putting a hit on her. Jax and Tig get into it over Jax stopping the hit. Tig says, "You've crossed the line Jax" to which Jax replies, "Not yet" and then the brawl between the two is on. Jax ultimately kicks Tigs ass.

We skip by to a scene where Piney is reading a note from John teller that he has clearly hung onto for years. The note reveals how much the club has changed since the two of them founded the SOA MC.

We then back track to a scene where Jax spends some time alone clearing his head after the fight with Tig. Jax is drinking some beer, and smoking some weed in the cemetary where John Teller, his father is burried. He wakes up in the cemetary the next morning and gives a blanket he borrowwed from a homeless bag lady back to her, and proceeds to walk down to the funeral burial that has started for Donna.

Jax leaves the funeral burial right quick, and as he is walking away, Tara leaves the funeral burial to follow behind. They embrace in a kiss.

Piney comes up to Jax, hands him a large stack of papers. (I did not catch exactly what they were) Club rights, or something. Piney says to Jax, "Time for a change." then walks away.

Jax goes to John Teller's grave, and we see Gemma and Clay looking at him with great concern. This is where the episode ends for a cliffhanger waiting untill next season.

Wholy crap it't been a hell of a ride. I'm stoked for next season. How about You!?!?!

You asked for it!

Two posts ago, I did a photo of "Crack Kills". I received several comments about this on how disturbing it was. Then I got a comment from Stephanie, AKA IHG short for Iowa Harley Girl. "I think he needs a flag sticking out of it to draw some more attention! LMAO!!!

Stephanie, Not the same bike or guy, butt (pun intended), Will this do?

Blog Roll

For those of you who have blog rolls, and have included my blog on your list, I want to say thank you.

For those of you who do, you may have checked my blog to see if you are on mine, only to find out I do not have a blog roll on my site. Sorry.

I have "over" 30 some blogs that get checked on a daily basis in my "Google Reader". The list continually grows. I have a hard time keeping up with reading and commenting on these, let alone maintaining my own blog at times.

I made a conscious decision at one time to remove the blog roll from my site. I did this because, I always felt like I was missing someone who visits my site. Every new comment I get, I read. I don't always respond, due to volume, and my time constraints. Like I said two posts ago, If a new person visits, and leaves me a comment, I'll go check out their profile. If they have a blog, I'll check that out too. If the blog is interesting to me, I'll add it to my Google Reader, and get updates when they do a new post.

I know there are tons more blogs out there that are of interest to me that I cannot posibly read, or give proper credit to on a blog roll, therefore I choose not to have one at all.

I fault no one for having one, and like I said, If my blog is on it, thanks!

I just wanted to clear the air officially as to why you are not on my blog roll. It's because I don't have one, and now you know why.)

Son's of Anarchy... Newbie... Son's of Anarchy...Newbie

I couldn't decide what to name this post, Son's of Anarchy, or newbie. Seeing is it is about both the Son's of Anarchy show, and a newbie to comments on my blog.

Anyway, anytime I see a comment on my blog, I read it. I never skip past a single one. I may not comment on everyone, especially when it's on a hot topic and I can't keep up, or when I'm extremely busy, but I never miss reading one.

When I get a comment from someone new, who has never left a comment before, I always check out their profile if they have one, and then if they have a blog, I'll go an check it out as well.

I guess this is how we "spread the love" as I like to call in in Bloggerville.

I'd like to welcome and introduce to you,
Jocelyn from Physical Possum, whom left a comment on my post last Thursday from Son's of Anarchy Episode 12 review. I went and checked out her site. She had a post on her site from Friday Nov. 12th that was like the best summary of the show I've seen yet. This in itself is worth reading. If you need a briefing on the show as a whole in one short read. She definitely sums it up nicely. Hell even if you know what's going on, check it out.

Her post is called..... How much is too much?

What are you waiting for man?..... Go and check it out already!

Biker Shorts

Oops! My bad. Wrong kind of biker, wrong kind of biker shorts too!

What this is supposed to be is a post about short biker stories.

There is a fellow blogger amongst us who has a knack for writing short stories (biker stories to be specific), like the kind you'd read in an Easy Rider Magazine, or other biker rags.

He goes by the pseudo name Big Daddy Nelson, A.K.A. Big D. for short in the blogger community.

His blog is called Big Daddy's Idle Thoughts .

Anyway, He's been writing shorts on the blog since sometime in 2007, and has a regular following of readers. Comments reviews on the blog are raving.

If you re into a good read for short biker stories, and you like biker rags, this will surely tickle your fancy.

Check out his blog to read the short stories, mixed in with his "regular" posts.

You can click the photo below to access his site.

Give it a looksee and tell me what you think!

Son's of Anarchy Episode 12 review

There was once again a bit of drama between Jax, Wendy, Tara, and Gemma. More so than last week. The tension & confusion of this love affair soap opera is building. But in my opinion, it is surely taking a back seat to the rest of the episode. However, in future episodes it will most certainly be interesting to follow the twist and turns of this tale.

Wholly SH*T None of us saw this one coming!

I thought that Tig would tell Clay that Opie saved his ass in the shoot out and defend him saying that he couldn't have been a rat, or he wouldn't have saved him . For a second there I actually gained a little respect for Tig's character. Now once again I think he is a big friggin asshole. Although my opinions on Him are really only affected this way because of his club loyalty, and his willingness to shoot Opie. I just wish he would have had more trust, and open mindedness, and loyalty toward Opie, a fellow club member. Shoot first, ask questions later doesn't really work when the one you want to ask questions to is dead.

I must admit, I was wrong, wrong, wrong about thinking that Jax was going to hit Tig for trying to shoot Opie. Although I was not the only one wrong with my false predictions. Guess we'll have to wait and see how this one pans out. I know there is a butt load of tension between those two.

Speaking of being wrong, wrong, wrong... How wrong was Clay! Boy did he make a stupid F'n mistake with the Black gang; and oh how he F'd up with his distrust in Opie's loyalty to the club.

The writers sure had one up on us all.

I wish it wasn't so.

I really liked Donna Winston.
I really liked the direction Opie, Donna, and their family was going.
With Donna's acceptance of the club there was a mutual respect for each other.

ATF Agent June Stahl is surely going to pay for this one.
I don't know how yet, but I'm sure she'll pay somehow.
As Clay said, "This blood is on you".

I'm really pumped up for next weeks season finale!
However, this episode landed on such a good note, it could have pulled of being the season finale itself.

P.S. Where the F was Half-Sack?

Winter is definately here

Yesterday, I rode. It was awakening to say the least. I think the high was 32 degrees F.

I didn't ride far, as I was not really dressed for a long ride in these temps. However, I did need to scratch that itch as they say, so I took the bike out anyway. I settled for about a ten-fifteen mile ride. I came back frozen. But when I turned off the engine and parked my Harley in the garage, not only was I frozen, but so was the smile on my face. I thought it was totally worth it. About two minutes after I pulled the bike in, and got a bit warm again I felt like going out for some more. But my other responsibilities had to take priority which was reason #2 for parking the Harley for the day.

As the nights grow longer, so do the down times between rides, and as the days grow shorter so do the lengths of my rides.

Soon there will be snow and ice to stay, and the bike will have to embark on it's winter slumber.

I talked to the bike shop today. They wanted to know when I was bringing my bike in. (I'm having a new rear tire put on). I said (once again like the last time they asked) "I don't see no snow and ice on the road yet do you?" They said I'm crazy. I said so be it. I'm riding till I can't.

New generation of motorcycles

Harley is hitting the market hard aiming sales at youth with a new generation of motorcycle.

Harley is looking to bring fast, sleek and clean lines to the younger generation in attempts to keep up with the competition.

This new generation of crotch rocket is projected to hit the Harley Davidson sales floors early September 20010.

They call it the HDSCR. (Harley Davidson Super Crotch Rocket)

Below is a photograph of what is rumored to be the prototype.

Here is some really good advise. This is a guest post about shipping your motorcycle

Shipping a Harley

Whether you own a classic big-twin or a new Sportster, the last thing you want is your bike to be damaged during a transport, so it’s always a good idea to prepare your cycle before handing it over to a shipping company. The following process is quick, easy, and will minimize the possibility of your bike getting damaged during shipment. Also, if an accident does occur these steps will help you collect compensation.

Begin prepping the hog for shipment by washing it down. As you clean it note any existing scratches, dents, dings or other imperfections and document them with pictures and in writing. Don’t rush, as this evidence of the bike’s condition will be the basis of your argument should you need to file a claim.

Following the wash, remove any customizations and loose items that could possibly be lost while on the haul. A shipping company’s insurance will not cover any missing or damaged accessories, so make sure that you’ve got everything.

The final step is a quick mechanical evaluation. Even though the shipper won’t be joyriding around, they may have to fire up your hog to get it on or off the trailer so it is important that it is in running condition. Check the tire pressure, fluid levels, charge the battery and make sure it has some gas. If you have been experiencing any reoccurring problems or the bike requires any unique procedures be sure to notify the carrier ahead of time.

Another thing to keep in mind: If your Harley is antique, rare or extremely customized you may want to go with a shipping company that specializes in that area. They will be accustomed to going the extra mile to protect your investment.

The Hydrogen Super Car: RMC Scorpion

Here is the RMC Scorpion supercar, created by Ronn Motor Company. This car uses a revolutionary gas fuel injection system that mixes hydrogen with petrol and injects it into the air-intake manifold. Then hydrogen comes from the water stored into an on-board 1.5 gallon tank. It means that it has better performance and less fuel consumption. Ronn Motor Company has announced two versions of the Scorpion, one powered by a 300 hp 3.5 liter Honda V6 returning 40 mpg and the other one powered by a twin-turbocharged HX version of the same engine, which delivers 450 hp, goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and goes over 200 mph. The RMC Scorpion will be available next year...

Son's of Anarchy Episode 11 review

This one was almost all about Opie . Oops, wrong Opie.

Try this again. This one was amost all about Opie.

That's better.

Many of you have stated in the past that dreadful fear of what is to become of Opie. It appears as though these fears are becoming closer to reality (in the show at least) as they can be. We'll have to wait and see just how this one pans out.

ATF Agent June Stahl plays a mean role in this episode. After Otto gave her a little head banging lesson in the last episode, we had to see this plot of vengeance against the Son's as a whole coming. She's chosen Opie as her pawn in an evil little game of set up. Too bad she's put Opie's life on the line. She's even turning on local Deputy Chief of the Charming Police Department, David Hale. All I know is She ain't playing fair. Although, all is fair in love and war.

I have to wonder if planting bugs in Opie's truck and in his cell phone was to actually listen in, or to further help the set up of Opie. If the later, why did she say she needed to go protect him when he was given his freedom?

Another turning point in this episode was the new interaction of Jax, Wendy, Abel, Gemma, and Tara. WTF is Gemma up to with Wendy? Is it just her little way of getting vengeance on Tara for breaking Jax's heart years ago? Can it be that simple? Will we know before the season is up? What is to become of Tara if Wendy is back in the picture? I'm guessing since Wendy has to spend some time at the halfway house, we wont know yet this season.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory

I absolutely loved the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I liked the original. I never saw the remake, because I figured why ruin a good thing.

Willy Wonka Kicks ass.
Oompa Loompas REALLY kick some ass. I'd love to dress up as one and go down the road on my Harley at a random time of year no where around Halloween just to see peoples reactions.

Who doesn't love an Oompa Loompa, except my wife, who finds them utterly creepy. (She hated the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz too.)

.

.
Anyway,
You are probably wondering Why I posted about this weird subject on a "motorcycle blog".....

I believe if Willy Wonka himself had a custom choppper, It would look something like this.
He is the first one I though of when I saw it!

They're Here!

Those pesky little white things falling from the sky.

As much as I love the beauty of a good snow fall, I always have mixed feelings in the beginning. The first few snow falls of the year bring with it the reminder of its beauty and a little bit of childish excitement. At the same time a bit of sadness comes because I know that this is the beginning to an end of a riding season for us frozen state dwellers.

Hell, just yesterday, someone asked me if I had my bike winterized. I replied, "I don't see any snow and ice yet do you?"

Well, they are here. Those pesky little white things.

Anyway, I'm stubborn, and I know that there is plenty good chance for a few more good rides, if the snow doesn't hang around here too long. This is after all the third time it has snowed here this year, and we've had many 70 degree days since the last two snowfalls. I'm hoping for a few more when this one get done.

I need long term proof that Mother Nature isn't letting up on her winter wrath before I call it quits for the season.

I've said it before. If people can ride snowmobiles in the winter even though it's cold, why can't I ride my motorcycle, as long as the roads permit.

Not necessarily biker. Most certainly not pollitically correct, but funny as Hell.

The original.................and...........the sequel men have been waiting for.

Son's of Anarchy Episode 10 review

I feel like I keep repeating myself when I say that this show keeps getting better each episode.

Last nights tenth episode was clearly no exception either!
The plot thickens, the action increases, and the more I see, the more I'm sucked in. I was one of the few it seems that liked the show from the very first episode, so you can imagine how much I'm enthralled now.

Last night Gemma was full of good one liners and quick wit. I loved her comment about the rosary beads to the Irishman.

I also thought the cop and ATF woman was an interesting ordeal. We all saw that one coming. No pun intended.

The twists I did not see coming was Cheri's past being revealed, and when the ATF agent got a face lift of sorts at the end.

O.K., my reviews may seem really short, but I'm keeping these short and sweet deliberately because some of the best review of the shows are your comments.

So Lets have it.

Continuation rant from Halloween. I survived Halloween, barely.

The kids in their little costumes were cute.

We did go through a craptacular amount of candy, and could have gone through more, had we not shut off the lights early on the non-costumed teenagers. Hell, even I went as far as making attempt to get into the Halloween spirit buy shooting a bullet between my eyes. I wasn't even trick or treating.

The Eve started out well, but earlier and earlier each year we see rows of cars with mothers and fathers bringing kids into our neighborhoods. We KNOW they don't live here. Where do they come from?

This year brought a new erea of non-Halloween spirited folks to our door.

We had a minivan with about 7 kids (little ones even) "escorted by parents" come up to the door from who knows where, AND NOT ONE OF THEM HAD A COSTUME. WTF?

Now I hope no one takes offense. Well if you do, too bad.
I am half Korean. I was adopted when I was only 22 months old. I remember nothing of Korea. I know little to nothing of my birth parents, nor do I care. As far as I'm concerned, My adoptive parents may as well be my birth parents.

Anyway back to my point. Being half Asian, you will know this view of mine is hopefully not going to come across as racist against Asians. If you think I am prejudiced, Well than I'll have to reply that I hate everyone equally.

Again back to my point. This was one of several minivans of parents, and Asian children
with no costumes. Are they new to the country? Do they not grasp the concept of trick or treating fully? WTF?
