The 2012 Tesla S

Tesla has by now made three “alpha build” Model S cars and all of them were assembled at the company’s head office in Palo Alto, sunny California. The bodies of the car were made by a dealer located at Michigan. The company will test these cars to learn the good and bad parts of the subsystems and components. Hopefully, in the near future Tesla Motors will enter the “beta builds” stage by production the cars at its factory located in Fremont, California. The cars that will roll out of the factory will be most likely used for federal crash-testing and documentation as well as for various additional tests and system inclusion.

The Tesla S will feature an aluminum body and the company targets a curb weight of about 4,000 pounds, alike to the Audi A8, another all-aluminum model that is considered to be a benchmark for Tesla’s car. Another promise made by the company regards the fact that the S will have the “best in class” aerodynamics from a body designed internally with the aid of Franz Von Holzhausen, the guy responsible for the beautiful Pontiac Solstice and for the bold Mazda Furai concept car. In addition, the aerodynamics of the car will be further tested by Robert Palin (ex Williams F1 driver) and Shaun Johnson (ex Ferrari driver).

The officials at the company promised some time ago that the S will be able to offer a range of up to 300 miles. In addition, they said that the car will feature all the extravagance of a BMW 7-series and space for seven passengers. Speaking of the interior cabin, I in fact doubt that seven people will fit in the car, perhaps five adults and two midgets. Moving on, the company acknowledged $465 million from the United States Department of Energy for building the S model.

The Best Design Car In The Future

The Best Design Car In The Future 3First picture car in the future like that will make you say that is very imagine. This car design like capsule or the faster car in the world.
For students of the way car demand is changing — and how design will adapt — the next few years will provide some fascinating spectator sport.

Seems to me that many of the rules about how cars look and are laid out will be rewritten, even before the expected blizzard of hybrid and electric powertrains arrives.
The Best Design Car In The Future 2Second picture car in the future There are signs this week that Volvo is about to redesign its traditional V70 estate - because customers think its roof is too low - just as Renault is preparing to drop its Espace MPV because customers feel, in this new age of insecurity, that the pioneering people-carrier’s glassy, high-riding way of doing things makes them too vulnerable.
The Best Design Car In The Future 4Third picture car in the future Discovering who’s right (each company doubtless has iron-cast research to justify its point of view) will be fascinating.
The future of car design
Other trends? Big-engined cars are obviously in trouble, now that fuel efficiency is all. That threatens formerly bulletproof premium cars.

Buyers have traditionally used their BMW purchase to justify an extra-performance engine with accompanying trimmings. BMW does perfectly good ‘cooking’ engines, of course, but it’s the pizzazz that earns them the money. If they start making a higher proportion of ordinary cars, as they surely will, the bottom line is bound to suffer.
The Best Design Car In The Future 6Fourth picture car in the future Don’t expect big-cabin cars to go into a spiral, though. Consumers keep growing, and they enjoy the comfort too much to squeeze themselves into micro-cars. Look forward instead to a renewed crop of innovations in packaging, accompanied by cheaper and more effective weight saving.

Superminis that weigh 1100kg can’t be afforded, when they used to weigh 800kg. So which are the areas of traditional strength?

Ironically, I believe the Mondeo/Insignia crop of models may generate renewed interest as we wait for the hybrids to arrive. They’re big bodied and well priced, while their staple engines are both advanced and economical. I’m especially impressed by their traditional voluminous estate versions (which is one reason why Volvo should have a care before it kills the traditionalist’s V70).
The Best Design Car In The Future 7New Toyota Alphard design is the best car in 2010
One thing Volvo could consider - and I’m half-serious here - is to reprise the old shovel-nosed Volvo design. After all, retro-cars like the Mini and Fiat 500 continue to provide islands of sales strength in a world of uncertainty, and Volvo marketing men continue to protest that the perception of the boxy and upright Volvo hold-all refuses to die.
The Best Design Car In The Future 5Maybe it’s time to stop fighting the old image and to see it as a virtue. best picture car in the future concept.

The Infiniti Essence Concept

Infiniti Essence Concept Car

Infiniti Essence is the halo car of Infiniti that needs to define itself as a luxury sports car manufacturer. Representing the theme, "Everything I want, nothing I don't," the Essence is a front-engine, rear-drive sports coupe with seating for two. Its shape is sinewy with some interesting lines. Notably absent are side mirrors and they've been replaced with miniature cameras. The Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter V-6. It's not exactly the engine from the Nissan GT-R, but it is really close. The initial specs call for 434 horsepower with a 7500-rpm redline, but the final car promises a total output closer to 600 horsepower. Done with the addition of a hybrid drive system that integrates a 158-hp electric motor in parallel and combines the two power sources by way of clutches installed ahead of the transmission. A large lithium-ion battery pack leaves minimal space for luggage. The solution? Custom luggage from Louis Vuitton. With the click of a button the rear deck opens and out slides the custom cases. The automatic luggage ejection is neat — just what you'd expect of a concept. The Infiniti Essence is a part fantasy and part reality.

The Bentley SenseS

Bentley SenseS, a future car concept that aims to integrate the driver and the vehicle as one with the help of genetic engineering, biotechnology and artificial intelligence. This concept car is unique and special and custom crafted to match the needs of each individual user. The car grows and learns along with its driver and becomes a machine that recognizes the needs, emotion and feelings of its driver without any external assistance.

Bentley SenseS: future car concept

The Future Machine:

Designed by Arturo Peralta, this Bentley concept of the future roads portrays a flowing design and a wonderful aerodynamic body that reduces the wastage of energy. The SenseS attempts to make a connection with its driver and in course of time recognize him and understand all his feelings and emotions. Rather than being a car, it acts more like your loyal steed and becomes a part of your daily drive.
